Experience Tomorrow Today
Welcome
This is a demonstration of how this system can enhance and simplify everyday life.
Context
The user is working through their Apple Vision Pro headset,
they receive a message from their partner reminding them
that they need to research & purchase this specific product for their daughter's birthday in a of couple days.
Whilst the user is low on time and busy with work, they need to ensure that it's suitable for their daughter with a hearing impairment, while also considering its size, comfort, durability, and price.
"Alexa, send me information about the silver AirPod Max's!"
"Alexa, show more details about its comfort and features."
"Alexa, place an order for this item!"
Project Overview
About
The Apple Vision Pro is Apple's advanced mixed reality headset, designed to blend augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) seamlessly into a single device. Announced in June 2023, it marks Apple's entry into the spatial computing market, offering a highly immersive experience through its cutting-edge technology.
Amazon Alexa is a cloud-based voice service developed by Amazon. It acts as a virtual assistant capable of performing a variety of tasks through voice interaction. Users can activate Alexa with a "wake word" (typically "Alexa") and then issue voice commands to perform tasks.
Main Objective
To revolutionise Retail and Smart Home Control by Integrating Amazon Services into the Apple Vision Pro.
To achieve this, I explored the integration of Amazon's shopping platform and Alexa services into Apple Vision Pro, thereby creating a seamless and immersive retail and smart home experience.
This integration aims to enhance user convenience, foster a more interactive shopping environment, and expand the utility of the Apple Vision Pro.

Project Goals
The integration of Amazon services into Apple Vision Pro aims to create a seamless and immersive user experience that enhances daily life through intuitive shopping, smart home management, and entertainment.
By focusing on increasing user engagement, expanding market reach, and generating new revenue streams, this project seeks to align user satisfaction with business growth.
The collaboration will leverage data-driven insights for continuous improvement, showcase technological leadership, and optimise the value of the Apple and Amazon ecosystems, ultimately driving customer loyalty and long-term success.
Voice Recognition Errors
Alexa may misinterpret commands, leading to wrong items being added to the cart.
Users with strong accents or dialects may face challenges with Alexa understanding their commands.
Lack of Detailed Information & difficulty Comparing Products
Alexa may provide limited product information and make it harder to compare multiple products through voice alone.
Unintended Orders
Voice recognition errors or inadvertent commands can lead to unintended orders.
Visual Preference
Some users prefer a visual interface for browsing and shopping rather than voice commands.
Reviewing &
customising orders
Limited ability to review the entire order before placing it & difficulty in customising orders such as sizing or colour.
Changing Orders
Difficulty in modifying or canceling orders once placed.
Payment Confirmation
Some users prefer a visual confirmation before completing a purchase.
Order Tracking
Limited ability to track order status and delivery updates through voice alone.
Expanding the Apple Vision Pro's capabilities to include retail experiences through Amazon and Amazon Alexa could open a new market segment, cater to diverse user needs & fix reoccurring issues with the current Amazon Alexa system all in one.
Revolutionising how users interact with products and their smart home environment.
Through research and talking to users, I have come up with a list of issues that could take place when purchasing items through Amazon Alexa.

Design Systems
I analysed the Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) to ensure that the design of my project adhered to best practices for user experience and interface design.
By closely following the guidelines, I was able to create a consistent, intuitive, and accessible user interface that aligns with Apple’s design principles.
This analysis helped me make informed decisions about layout, navigation, and interactions, ensuring that the project not only meets user expectations but also provides a seamless experience across the Apple ecosystem.
I carefully observed and incorporated both Apple’s and Amazon’s design systems to ensure that the project remained consistent and usable.
By integrating Apple’s design principles, I achieved a seamless user experience that aligns with the Vision Pro’s interface, focusing on clarity, depth, and ease of use.
Simultaneously, I incorporated Amazon’s design elements to create a familiar and intuitive shopping experience, ensuring smooth interaction with Alexa services.
This combination allowed the project to deliver a cohesive and user-friendly experience that leverages the strengths of both of their respective design systems.

Low/High Fidelity Wireframes
By leveraging both Apple and Amazon’s design systems, I was able to create a variety of wireframes that reflect the unique characteristics and strengths of each platform.
Using Apple’s design principles, I focused on crafting wireframes that prioritise clarity, simplicity, and intuitive navigation for the Vision Pro’s immersive interface. At the same time, Amazon’s design system guided the creation of wireframes that emphasise user-friendly interactions and seamless shopping experiences.
The stainless steel frame is encased in a soft-touch material, offering an exceptional blend of strength, flexibility, and comfort.

Final Statement
The final product of this project addresses and overcomes all of the identified user issues by integrating advanced voice recognition technology to reduce errors, providing visual cues and confirmations for every step of the shopping process.
Users can now review and modify orders, compare products visually, and receive detailed information before making a purchase. The product ensures that payment confirmations and order tracking are displayed clearly, reducing the chances of unintended orders.
Through a simple, user-friendly, and minimalistic design, the interface remains precise and focused, offering a seamless and intuitive shopping experience that meets the needs of all users.
Thank You!
I hope you enjoyed reading about my project as much as I did creating it.
